Inverglen Photography offer friendly and personal small group residential workshops in the magnificent Scottish Highlands. Our workshops are suitable for photographers of all abilities and especially those who are still learning to get the best from their digital cameras. Whilst digital cameras can produce extremely high quality images, it still takes the creativity and knowledge of the photographer to get the most from their equipment. Inverglen Photography is dedicated to helping you get fantastic images by taking you to great locations at the right time, and where needed, helping you explore your creativity and build a deeper knowledge of how to craft an image. Our workshops visit some of the Scottish Highland's most spectacular locations, from rugged mountains to breathtaking lochs and glens, not to mention some of the most idyllic coastline in the UK. We aim to be at each location at a time to take advantage of the best light. Not only will we help you capture the scenery with your camera, but back at base we can help you take those images to another level through careful use of imaging software such as Photoshop and Lightroom. Our home base is the elegant Inverglen Guest House (a top rated property on TripAdvisor), a Victorian stone villa built in 1894 with many traditional features as well as modern comforts. Our B&B is situated in a quiet residential area, yet is only five minutes' walk to the centre of Inverness. An Inverglen Photography workshop is a team effort. While John leads the photographic side of things Susan looks after your creature comforts. Good food is guaranteed, and in addition to an extensive breakfast menu we also provide a packed lunch and a hearty evening meal for all workshop guests (and non-participating partners). It's about more than just great images Inverglen Photography will take you to stunning locations, but it's about more than that. Our workshop bring together a small group of like minded individuals who work together and have fun. Of course you are also on holiday and we won't forget that. |
